Privacy notice

Quote requests: your name, mobile, email, the property or site address (or plot number), who you are (homeowner, landlord, trade, developer or other), a company name if you give one, and what you tell us about the garden.

Messages: your name, email, and any phone number, postcode and message you send.

Website use: only if you allow analytics cookies, information about how the website is used. See our cookie notice.

We use it to price your garden, organise and do the work you book, reply to messages and keep records the law asks for. The legal basis is taking steps towards a contract at your request, carrying it out, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

With the consent you give on the quote form, we contact you about your quote and related services by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email. You can change your contact preferences or withdraw consent at any time.

Access is limited to the people pricing and doing your job, and only to the parts each of them needs. Records sit in the customer-management and email software our service providers run on our behalf.

Nobody buys your details from us, and no other business gets them for its own marketing. Beyond that, we disclose them only when legally required to.

Completed jobs: 6 years. Unbooked requests and messages: 6 years. Pictures of your garden: 6 years.

You're entitled to a copy of your information, to correct it, to have it erased, to object to how it's used and to stop us contacting you. Write to info@newbuildturfing.co.uk, or send a note through the contact form.

Unhappy with how your information has been handled? Let us know first and we'll try to sort it. The Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) also takes complaints.
